Chaster Park is located in Gibsons on the lower portion of the Sunshine Coast. The area is a popular day use destination for picnics, beach walks and beach combing, especially at low tide.

It is not as well known as other boating destinations, like the Broken Islands

The Sunshine Coast trail leads through old growth forests, a marsh wetland and leads to the headwaters of Davis Creek. The Hidden Grove Trail section is just a small part of the bigger picture. The region is actually divided into four park sections.

The hike is a full day adventure taking up to 3-6 hours round trip to complete. While trekking and exploring up the Confederation Lake Trail there are some views of Powell Lake and Inland Lake.

Suncoaster Bike Trail is a thrilling mountain bike ride covering 33 km (20 mi.) stretching from Homesite Creek, near Halfmoon Bay, and continues through the hills of the Caren Range down to Klein Lake near the village of Earls Cove.
