Cape Mudge Lighthouse on Quadra Island of the Discovery Islands, BC, Canada is located on the southern tip of the island so to protect and mark the entrance to the Discovery Passage.

The burial grounds are the resting place for many of the First Nations people who first inhabited the island. Standing tall, marking many of the grave sites, are a number of ceremonial Totem Poles. Some of which are very old, faded and have fallen to the ground - some say, they are returning back

Alert Bay

The Beautiful Bay Trail is a moderate hike along an earthy trail. The 5 kilometre route explores through the island's forest leading to hill tops with views of the surrounding ocean waters. The most popular viewpoint are the Malcolm and Numas Lookouts.

The highlights of Roesland attract people to the park. Some of the highlights include Row House (the museum), the hiking trail to the tip of Roe Islet (amazing marine views) and the hiking trail to Roe Lake located above Shingle Bay.

South Otter Bay Road

The park is an ideal moorage destination for boaters as it is protected from the elements and enables boaters to wait out any rough weather. Ocean kayakers also can enjoy the coastline of this park.

The Mt. Parke Regional Park is a popular hiking destination for visitors because it is a chance to access easy views overlooking the Gulf Islands and the surrounding ocean channels.

Montrose Road

Popular destination on South Pender Island for adventure and for relaxation. The park features a sandy beach, rocky shoreline, tidal pools, hiking trails, wildlife and a wilderness campground.

Ainslie Point Road

Alert Bay is a magical and romantic destination located off the northern tip of Vancouver Island.
