Main Lake Provincial Park on Quadra Island of the Discovery Islands, Gulf Islands BC, Canada is the largest park on the island. The park was created in 1997 and is best known for its 6 lakes, waterfalls, and limestone sinkholes.

The 3, 530 hectare park is a popular activity destination for camping, canoeing, hiking, fishing, kayaking and wildlife watching opportunities. Some of the wildlife known to visit the park include wolves, cougars and various species of birds.

Main Lake Provincial Park protects a biological diverse fresh water systems which is home to 72 different bird species and 234 plants. The chain of lakes is the largest fresh water canoe route of the Gulf Islands.

Wilderness camping is available in the park. In total there are 7 campsites with no services in the park accessed by canoe and/or boat.

How To Get ToMain Lake Provincial Park

:
Travel to the community of Campbell River on Vancouver Island. From Campbell River take the BC Ferry crossing to Quathiaski Cove on Quadra Island. From the ferry terminal on Quadra travel on Heriot Bay Rd and then turn left on W Road. Then take another left onto Hyacinth Road and continue on Village Bay Road to the park.
