Celebrate this holiday season at The Saskatoon Farm! This year marks our 6th annual Christmas Market. We are located just south of Calgary in Alberta.

With over 400 local small businesses over 3 weekends this year, your bound to find anything anyone might possibly want!
Not all 400 will be there at the same time. Each weekend will be a unique selection of local makers and creators joining in, making all 3 weekends a little different.

The event will take place both indoors and outdoors. Make memories with family and friends while warming up around roaring a fire.

Dozens of creators will showcase and sell their unique works on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 12-5 pm in the bright and beautiful AGO’s Weston Family Learning Centre (317 Dundas St W). Shop unique works from over 50 makers from various disciplines. Learn about how these non-profits use art to support people in finding purpose, pride, passion, joy, and healing. Participating artists and organizations keep 100% of their revenue. The Good Work Art Market aims to reduce barriers to participation by providing free space for artists and organizations to sell their work and meet new audiences.

Since 1905, the Santa Claus Parade has kicked off the Christmas season, first in Toronto, then for the whole country as it has grown in popularity and importance throughout the years. The Parade brings people together, regardless of their background, celebrating hope, family and love. It’s part of the fabric of our community.

Every year we bring hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of Toronto, and millions more watching at home, together to celebrate this joyous season. We’ve been doing so uninterrupted for 118 years, and that’s exactly what we will be doing again this year, bringing Santa’s magic to town.

We are excited to share that we will be back on the streets of Toronto in 2022! Join us on Sunday, November 20th at 12:30pm for the return of amazing floats, bands, marchers, the Celebrity Clowns and of course, Mrs. Claus and Santa!

Attending the Out of Hand Modern Market in Victoria, British Columbia, is like walking through an art gallery, a museum gift shop, or taking in an artisan tour of the Gulf Islands. The good thing though is that it is all under one roof at the Crystal Gardens!

Out of Hand Modern Market showcases the work of over 100 of Western Canada's talented artists and creators. This carefully curated selection of goods made by hand includes pottery, leather craft, woodwork, jewelry, fabric art, soaps and lotions, home decor, food, wine, spirits and more!

This market has been a tradition for over 30 years. There is an admission cost to enter the venue for those 13 years old and older (children 12 and under are free). Like everything else admission has gone up over the years and is now $10.27, however it is important to note that admission is for the duration of the event, and you can enter and leave the venue multiple times for the single admission price. Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue door depending on availability.

Out of Hand Modern Market is the perfect place to find that unique regional high-quality gift that is sure to please. There will be live music and a coffee lounge for those wanting to take a shopping break.

Here comes Santa Claus to launch Christmas on the WestCoast, Victoria, British Columbia! The 40th Peninsula Co-op Santa Claus Parade returns Saturday, November 26, 2022, to entertain children and adults of all ages! This is a free event.

The parade starts at 5PM at the corner of Government St and Belleville St and will head up Douglas Street to finish at Fisgard St. Bundle up in sweaters and mittens and bring hot chocolate in a thermos from home or money to purchase hot beverages and snacks at one of the coffee shops along the route.

After the parade there will be photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, vendors and entertainment located at the Bayview Holiday Plaza - 251 Esquimalt Rd., Victoria, B.C.

The annual Vernon Winter Carnival Parade is back!
Everyone's favourite kickoff is the carnival the parade goes through downtown Vernon for a day filled with community, celebration, and fun!
If you cannot make the parade in person, Shaw Okanagan always films it I've for all to view at home!

The parade route has changed for 2023. However, a map has not been released yet, be sure to check the Vernon Winter Carnival website for the parade map before heading down for a spot to watch!

All children from Vernon and area schools in grades Kindergarten thru Grade 7 and eligible to create a poster based on this year's theme (Carnival TV) and enter it in the contest!
Prizes and ribbons are presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each grade. Plus, there will be a participation prize for all children who participate from Vernon Teach and Learn! Sign up on Vernon Winter Carnival website to confirm participation and book judging!

The Downtown Vernon Goldrush is back for Vernon Winter Carnival!
Last year this event won the Winter Carnival award for the best outdoor event!
A revised (easier than last year) clue package can be picked up from the Vernon Winter Carnival Office; take your family on a downtown scavenger hunt, and look for the answer to clues (all answers are within Downtown Vernon).
You could win an actual Gold Nugget and many other prizes yet to be announced.

Vernon, BC sadly, no longer has a downtown light-up. Instead, the Vernon Winter Carnival Society hosts a light-up at the Vernon Spirit Square Park (Vernon City Hall)!
Featuring activities for all ages, this family-friendly event happens from 5pm-8pm on Saturday, November 26th: WITH THE OFFICAL LIGHT UP AT 5:30 PM SHARP!

The lights will be shining all through December and be lite again for the 10 days of Winter Carnival from February 3-12 2023.
