Winter nights near Edmonton come alive at the Canadian Tire Magic of Lights Edmonton, where over two million LED lights transform RAD Torque Raceway into a festive drive through experience. This seasonal attraction near the Edmonton International Airport offers a warm, relaxed way to enjoy Canadian winter traditions from the comfort of your vehicle.
The 2.7 km route winds through a mix of familiar favourites like Candyland and Toyland alongside newer scenes such as Victorian Christmas and Prehistoric Christmas. Each display is thoughtfully put together, meant to be taken in at a slower pace. With festive music playing on the radio, the drive itself becomes part of the experience rather than just a way to move between scenes.
This outing worked especially well while hosting international visitors, offering a cozy introduction to Canadian winter celebrations without braving the cold. It also adds meaning knowing that a portion of each ticket supports 880 CHED Santas Anonymous and Canadian Tire Jumpstart, helping local families and youth stay active.
