Kimberley, BC’s coffee culture is thriving, with at least six locally owned coffee shops to choose from. On this trip, we visited four in Kimberley plus one more in Invermere.

Kimberley skips the usual chains, no McDonald’s or Tim Hortons, just an A&W, which makes the local cafés the heart of its coffee culture.

We are always on the lookout for unique local coffee shops, not just for a great cup of coffee, but for a cost-effective breakfast or light lunch and a place to get a feel for the community. These are the kinds of stops that fuel both your morning and your day of outdoor adventure in the Kootenays.
