Aulk Island Wine is made locally right here on Twillingate Island and uses local Newfoundland and Labrador wild berries and some specialty wines using iceberg water. the traditional berries are hand picked and by locals and used to make a variety of berry flavoured wines. The Winery was named after the extinct Great Auk and uses NL humour with its names and labels such as this blueberry wine titled “Fifty Shades of Bay” as a play on the seductive book trilogy “Fifty Shades of Grey”. Tasty!
