Seeing as there are 199 campsites available, some are big, some are small. Some have trees and some are in what looks like an open field. Do your homework if what the campsite looks like matters to you. They are vastly different. Some offer service hookups and others are unserviced sites. I had pre-booked, never seeing the park before. I was very glad I did a drive through prior to our actual stay, because I was able to change my campsite to an unserviced site with trees and privacy.

You will typically find me tent camping. But once in awhile the trailer comes out for more of a glamping experience. I actually find trailer camping more work then tenting it. But the trailer is great for bad weather weekends and we did get some thunderstorms over our stay at Kinbrook Island. The trailer was a good choice for this trip.

Yes, even your cute well behaved fido is not welcome on the beach. Don't be that entitled person who thinks the rules don't apply to you. It always amazes me the amount of people who bring their dogs down dispite the quite obvious signage. Take fido somewhere else to swim and dig in the sand.
