While looking to find some more fall hikes, we might have accidentally stumbled upon a winter wonderland instead.
Pinnacle Lake is located in the Monashee Mountains or about a 2 hr drive (22 km up a logging road) from Vernon, BC.
The trail is rated as difficult but the hardest part of the 7km return hike is the last 800m getting up to the lake. It is tight switchbacks but there are some spectacular views along the way. Oh, and there's also a waterfall!
