Travel or hiking specifically at this time of year requires a level of patience of acceptance that sometimes we aren’t willing to devote this time of year. I know I used to suffer from wanting this part of the year to pass quickly so that I could move on to what I wanted. I have learned to just accept cold, mud, rain, snow for what it is and the beauty with the changing season.
