Beyond Van Gogh The Immersive Experience is coming to Victoria, British Columbia in November!
Imagine an art gallery of Vincent Van Gogh's greatest works dropped onto a screen the size of an IMAX, then add a symphonic score -- now you have a post-impressionist virtual reality. The floor changes as you walk through this 30K square foot gallery, the images on the walls slide both horizontally and vertically as the scene in the room changes, moving from one canvas to the next. You are seemingly shrunk in size as you walk through and become one with the paintings. There are 300 of Van Gogh's artworks, including such favorites as "The Starry Night", "Sunflowers" and "Cafe Terrace at Night". Comprised of over 4 billion content pixels this Canadian technology and high-resolution portrayal of Van Gogh's works provides visitors with the opportunity to experience art from a new perspective, from that inside a painting.
