The 2024 Bowden Sun Maze opens on August 1st to mid-September at Eagle Creek Farms Bowden Sun Maze, Bowden, Alberta, Canada.

The Sunflower Fields are almost ready and the Bowden Sun Maze is a wonderful photo-taking opportunity and fun for the whole family.
Plans are to open the mazes on August 1st with a discounted admission as the first planting will only be beginning its Bloom.

Waiting until mid to late August to see the Sunflower Farm at its prime is recommended.

The Joy Run 50 & Relay is an ultra trail marathon on the famous East Coast Trail in Newfoundland Canada raising awareness for mental health and suicide. The trail run was created by runner Tanya Joy in memory of her brother Jody who died by suicide July 2019. It was incepted in 2021 and is a commemoration and heartfelt tribute to the lives that have touched us deeply. It’s also a platform to amplify voices, to remind the world that every storm matters, and that together, we can drive change.

As participants lace up their shoes and embrace the trails, they become part of a larger narrative that aims to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health. Every step taken echoes the commitment to breaking the silence surrounding these vital conversations.

The Joy Run 50 is more than just a trail running event in Newfoundland Canada. It is a community, a family and a voice that declares the value of every life. Ready to be a part of something incredible? Secure your spot and be a part of a movement that spreads joy, connection and love.
