Corner Gas has brought international recognition to the Province of Saskatchewan and to the Town of Rouleau, (AKA Dog River). It has added to the cultural heritage and history of Rouleau. Life in Rouleau, during the summer, was defined by Corner Gas. Fans from across North America became tourists once they headed out in search of the legendary Dog River.
Rouleau is to Corner Gas fans as Yasgurs Farm is to Woodstock.
