Grass Creek Park is the annual location of the Kingston Sheep Dog Trials - one of the largest and most prestigious sheepdog trial events in North America. These trials bring together herding dogs (mostly border collies) and their handlers to compete in a course where they must move sheep through gates and around obstacles. The Kingston Sheepdog Trials has been running for over 35 years at Grass Creek Park.
