From the Observatoire De La Capitale this is the view from the west. It looks beyond old Quebec to the modern city of high rises and highways. There are many more neighborhoods to explore beyond the fortified walls of Old Quebec City and were interesting as they were not tourist focused, I had to speak more French and the cafes and shopping were just as marvelous as that within the walls, reflecting more the daily life of those living in this great city!
