First there is the planning. Step 1. From the website identify the most interesting exotic hot chocolate creations you would like to try. Recognize that you may only be in Vancouver for the weekend and no, it is simply not possible to sample all 140. Step 2. Work on narrowing down the list. Step 3. Consider neighbourhoods and venues you would also like to explore as your list of hot chocolates is still too long. Steps 4, 5, and 6 continue to try and get the list down to a manageable size. Step 7. Abandon all hope of list management, and randomly pick from the list. Proceed to venue and get served a very large artistic mug of deliciousness with a cookie, cake or donut on the side. Enjoy this from within the steamy warmth of a venue as you watch the falling rain (Vancouver at this time of year). Realize sadly that you can only manage one of these beverages a day, and therefore, you resign yourself to booking an extra night in Vancouver, just so you can have another one off the list for breakfast!  More ...
