Ontario's Best Butter Tart Festival

GET READY for the 2022 ONTARIO'S BEST BUTTER TART FESTIVAL located in beautiful downtown Midland Ontario on the shores of GEORGIAN BAY!
***NOTE: We are monitoring public health guidelines as we start to plan for 2022.***
200,000+ butter tarts will flood this unique street festival!
** CONTEST **
Check out the contest at the Midland Cultural Centre where 120 butter tarts will compete - only one will be crowned best in the show.
**BANDS & ENTERTAINMENT**
There's a free concert happening all day with a variety of folk, rock, funk, and jazz bands playing.
** STREET FESTIVAL**
One full kilometer of our downtown main street is closed and filled with street vendors selling food, clothing, accessories, artisanal soaps and candles, and yes, more butter tarts than you can even imagine!
**SHUTTLE**
Midland Transit is running every 30 minutes and it's free to hop on for the day. Your fare is paid, come try it out! There is a free shuttle from Penetanguishene Town Dock to Downtown Midland as well!
** BIKE CORRAL**
Free bike valet for those of you interested in cycling to the event! Located at the King & Hugel intersection, it's secure, easy, and free.
