Since 1905, the Santa Claus Parade has kicked off the Christmas season, first in Toronto, then for the whole country as it has grown in popularity and importance throughout the years. The Parade brings people together, regardless of their background, celebrating hope, family, and love. It’s part of the fabric of our community.

The Original Santa Claus Parade has been a central part of the holidays in Toronto for 117 years. The support of the City of Toronto, our volunteers, our sponsors, and the community has been unwavering throughout our history, and in particularly, over these past months.

The Santa Claus Parade will be a broadcast-only event in 2021. We know this disappoints many of you, but this decision was made after thoughtful discussion and careful consideration of many factors. It takes months to organize the volunteers, partners, and safety considerations for a Parade of our size, and our decision was made by the Parade several weeks ago using the best available data at the time.

Join us on CTV | CTV2 on December 4th at 7 PM for the 2021 Toronto Santa Claus Parade
