After grabbing a sightseeing pass for the Fernie Alpine Resort, I hopped on the Elk Chairlift and headed to the top. After a long beautiful ride to the top, you're greeted with stunning views, an interpretive centre, picnic tables as well as hammocks! Faint music plays in the background as all the mountain bikes prepare their decent. A beautiful area, you can hike back down or take the chairlift back to the bottom.
