A gorgeous area on Upper Arrow Lake near Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. The Begbie Creek flows into Upper Arrow Lake, with a waterfall in very close proximity to the mouth of the river. An easy to follow, short trail, weaving through the old forest, leads you from the parking lot to the base of Begbie Falls. There is a small lookout at the base. Additionally, you can wander the trail system for beautiful views of Upper Arrow Lake, and enjoy a picnic at the awesome dayuse spot with a picnic table and fire pit. Begbie Falls Recreation Site also has a large campground not too far from the parking lot area. A lot of people choose to walk/hike in from the main road.

I stayed away from what looks like a soon to be mini landslide near the day use spot. Those cracks in earth make it seem like that section won't be there much longer

The picnic spot is down the trail further, towards the lake. You're treated with lovely views of Begbie Creek and Upper Arrow Lake

The trail is very well used in this area. There were plenty of people around the trails at Begbie Falls on a weekday in October.
