Sandon is a very cool ghost town in southeastern British Columbia Canada. Located about 1.5 hours north of Nelson BC. Take a step back in time and explore old buildings, a firehall, a cool collection of buses, and much more including a museum, in The Valley of the Ghosts. The Kootenays are home to one of the largest number of ghost towns in North America! It's not just pretty lakes and scenery around here to explore on your road trips! If you time your trip right, you might be able to "Camp with the Ghosts". Sandon is kept up by the Sandon Historical Society, and for that we thank them.
