Some history that started in 1936 about a little town that once was, but is no more. Little Chicago AB was renamed Royalties AB in 1937 due to Little Chicago's mail getting mixed up with Chicago. Trickling down in numbers by the mid 40's, there is now nothing left of this little old town except for this monument 2km north of Longview Alberta.

Unfortunately the monument was vandalized and the brass plaques were taken. The monument will have the plaques replaced in the near future.
