It was an honour to speak tonight at the International Women's Day in Merritt, BC, Canada. It was an opportunity to give thanks and showcase some amazing Nicola Valley women. The amazing social, cultural and humanitarian contributions of these special women, throughout some very tough years, brought tears, applause and laughs to a jam packed auditorium. We talked accolades, accomplishments and sacrifices made by some amazing women who stepped it up in 2021-22.
