I went for a ride with the Hamilton Glowriders in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The Hamilton Glowriders group is a friendly bicycle gang that organizes night rides between May and September. The Hamilton Glowriders ride around the city at night with both bikes and riders decked out in lights and glow sticks. The leisurely ride through the city is open to anyone of any cycling ability. One of the intentions of the Glowriders is to promote safe and legal cycling and help spread friendly cycling vibes.

I felt a strong sense of community as I joined fellow cyclists on a journey through the heart of Hamilton, Ontario. In a sea of neon lights, the streets came alive with music, laughter, and a variety of colourful LED displays. The Glow Ride was a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of Hamilton at night, all while illuminating the streets with my own glow-in-the-dark attire. The Glow Ride was a fantastic example of Hamilton’s commitment to promoting a sustainable and active way to enjoy the urban environment.
