Oh my l haven' had Fish & Chips this good in a long time. Huge piece of fish with the loveliest light crisp batter that really wowed me. Delicious french fries, excellent coleslaw, and yummy tartar sauce.

We didn't try the Pizza this ime but next trip we will for sure as it sure looked and smelled fantastic.

We sat on the covered patio and enjoyed checking out the fun decor while enjoying the warm summer evening breeze.

From the Rumrunner's website it states: "Bill Singer worked for 14 years in the venerable Oak Bay Beach Hotel's Snug before opening the Rumrunner in 1990. Since then, the Rumrunner Pub & Restaurant has become a favoured spot for locals, a regular stop for visiting boaters, and a great find for visitors to Sidney." Hmmm . . . doesn't say anything about another location in Alberta, and the name is slightly different being added together, so I would guess perhaps two different establishments. Good memory!
