Get up close and personal with Niagara Falls as you navigate your way through tunnels deep in the rock behind the powerful Niagara Falls. Walk right up to the water pouring down in front of the open tunnels and listen to the sound of the continuous thunder of the falls pounding down all around you. You will find a lot of history boards throughout the tunnels. Furthermore, there are a couple exterior view points at the base of the falls as well included in the self guided tour. They will supply you with a little keepsake rain poncho to help keep you dry. The more windy it is outside, the more wet you will get on this tour. It was a very windy day when we went through and you can see the water gushing into the tunnels because of this.
