The Great Wall of Saskatchewan!!
The Great Wall of Saskatchewan is located near Smiley, Saskatchewan, Canada. Built by Albert Johnson between 1962-1988 according to the very faded sign at the location. While cleaning up the fields, the rocks would come here instead of laying in random piles everywhere. There is also a sod house there to see and a guest book to sign.
A great spot to stop and check out while backroading in Saskatchewan.
The Wall stretches more than half a kilometer and has an average height of 6ft but gets as high as 12ft in some spots.
Built in such a way that it requires nothing to hold it together.
