Waterfalls in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada - Middle Brook Falls Gros Morne National Park

Waterfalls in Gros Morne National Park Newfoundland and Labrador Canada

Waterfalls in Gros Morne National Park Newfoundland and Labrador Canada are a must see tourist attraction when visiting the beautiful East Coast island. Middle Brook Falls is a multi-level cascading waterfall located in the scenic community of Glenburnie and is exceptionally beautiful to view in any season. However, the travel destination is extra special in Autumn when the changing leaves colour the spectacular landscape in breathtaking shades of yellow and orange. Additionally, in the warmer Summer months, the water feature serves as a clear refreshing natural swimming hole for travellers and locals alike. Adventure seekers can venture beyond “third falls”, which is the deepest, and visitors may witness swimmers jumping into the deep pool below from atop of the surrounding rugged cliffs. However, please please stay safe and do not underestimate the power of nature and dangers involved.

To find the falls take The Viking Trail (highway 430) from Deer Lake towards Wiltondale and take the  Bonne Bay road towards Trout River and Lomond. Look out for the Middle Brook Cottages parking lot where you will find a short trail adjacent to the property leading to the majestic waterfalls. The natural wonder makes a great picnic location as well while visiting Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada. Add Middle Brook Falls to your NL travel bucket list! You wont be disappointed!
