I chanced across this park on my way to the Duke Point Ferry Terminal on Vancouver Island. The Ladysmith Transfer Beach Park is in a beautiful location. It includes 2.3 km of walking trails, beach front for swimming and paddle sports. There are benches where you can take in the spectacular view, or do some bird watching. While I was there, I noted a large playground with many families enjoying the facilities. There is an off-leash park for dogs. Although not in use on this day, there is a large open-air amphitheatre. And, of course, picnic areas. Over all, a very nice park but it was the view that had me in awe.
