Okanagan Falls, British Columbia

Okanagan Falls is a small lakefront village community located off of Highway #97 in the Okanagan Valley, southeast of Penticton, BC, on the shores of Skaha Lake. The community is sometimes referred to as "OK Falls".
Immediately south of Okanagan Falls is Vaseux Lake. This lake is an area of desert climate transition and bold geological landscape. The lake is one of the top locations in the Okanagan Valley for bird watching due to the nature of the surrounding bio-diversity.
Christie Memorial Provincial Park is a main park destination in the region. It is a Skaha Lake park popular for swimming, fishing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, canoeing, water skiing, sandy beaches and picnicking.
The Kettle Valley Rail Trail near Okanagan Falls leads hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers over an old pile trestle, directly into the community of Okanagan Falls. OK Falls is the northern gateway to Canada’s pocket desert, the most northern point of the Sonora Desert.
Green Lake Rd. climbs up past vineyards and small lakes to the Community of Willowbrook, BC and the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory.
