2021 Information Sessions

We also would like to extend an invitation to participate in the 2021 Canada Adventure Seeker information sessions. During these sessions, we will do our best to answer all your questions regarding the opportunity, and inform you about any new updates for the 2021 program. (limited space available):

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants can be of any age.
  • Applicants must live in Canada.
  • Applicants must be passionate about Canadian adventures, tourism and travel.
  • Applicants must have a strong desire to make a difference in the adventure tourism market online.
  • Applicants must have no-fear competing against powerful Government Tourism Associations.
  • Applicants must be highly motivated to represent their community/region in our network.
  • Applicants must be committed to participating in meetings and trainings.
  • Applicants must be committed in creating new content.

Seeker Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in 3 one-hour training sessions (in the beginning of the annual term) to cover the basic functionality of all the content marketing and social media tools available to the Canadian Adventure Seeker.
  • Participate in monthly 1 to 1.5 hour-long information sessions to train on marketing & social media techniques, trends, as well as, brainstorm the Canadian Adventure Seeker Program. 
  • Must attend 80% of meetings.
  • Create and produce quality content per month (minimum contribution)
    • (1) 600 word story minimum about a park, trail, historic site, entertainment, outdoor adventure, travel tip, stories and/or community, pretty much anything to do with Canada travel.
    • (4) photos individually posted or (1) 3 minute video uploaded up on the live "Community" feed.
  • Be proud ambassadors of Canada sharing and commenting on content created by fellow Canadian Adventure Seekers.
  • We anticipate that Adventure Seekers will be required to spend 1 hour per week throughout the year, with additional hours based on the desire to excel in the program so to be eligible for future opportunities.
