The major ski resorts are located in the Rocky Mountain Region of Alberta in the Banff National Park, Jasper National Park and near Canmore in Kananaskis Country.
Alberta Ski Season
The length of the ski season is different for every mountain. A lot depends on how quick the snow arrives on the mountains and how long it sticks around. In general the ski season usually begins in late November or early December and runs until late April.
