English Garden is a horticultural attraction and floral sightseeing destination situated in Assiniboine Park which is located in the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

The gardens are impeccably manicured and maintained to the highest of standards, keeping with the traditions of an English style garden. The pride in the grounds is easily apparent as there are many caretakers on site caring for flower beds, picking weeds and watering plants.

The gardens measure over 1.2 hectares (3 acres). They were created in 1926 and are home to a wide selection of trees, shrubs, annual and perennial flowers.

The gardens are designed with a natural view of how a garden should be maintained as opposed to a garden with rigid lines and formats.

There are paved pathways which explore the gardens leading to potting plants, fountains, statues, ponds and flower beds. Along some of the paths are sitting benches so one can slow down and smell the roses as they say.

Many of the flowers, all complimented by colors and scents, are identified with small information signs indicating types and origins of the flowers.

In the centre of the gardens is a Rose Garden with over 400 flowers consisting, of mostly, Grandiflora, Rugosa and Floribunda Roses. The rose gardens surround a pond populated by fish.

Throughout the summer months the gardens are a busy destination for visitors. It is not only the gardens drawing attention but also the sculptured and bronze statues of the Leo Mol Gardens next door. The Leo Mol Gardens are decorated with many outdoor statues and provide onsite an artist work shop and gift shop.

There are statues in the English Garden as well - most notably - the statue of Queen Victoria and the Boy with the Boot. Both were donated to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
