Shuswap Lake is the main waterway destination located in the Thompson-Shuswap region of British Columbia, Canada for recreation and activity during the sunshine months. The main communities on the lake are Salmon Arm and Sicamous.
Sicamous Creek Falls Trail is located near Swansea Point on Mara Lake south of Sicamous, British Columbia, Canada. The 400 metre easy grade loop trail follows a set of stairs down an embankment to the base of the waterfall.
Sicamous Riverfront Nature Park is located next to Shuswap Lake in the community of Sicamous, British Columbia, Canada. The easy grade walking and hiking trails meander through a forest following the shores of Eagle River.
Mara Lake measures just under 20 square kilometres. The lake is connected by the Sicamous Narrows to Shuswap Lake. Both lakes provide a vast waterway playground for houseboating, boating, kayaking, water skiing, paddle boarding (sup) and fishing.
