Some of the winter activities include cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, heli skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, ice climbing, snowshoeing and dog sledding.

The stores work out of chalet type buildings and the streets are pedestrian friendly. It is easy to get around on foot. There are bike trails and walking paths connecting the village to various parks, attractions and smaller villages.
