Riverdale Park East is situated in east Toronto, Ontario, Canada and boasts an incredible view of Toronto's skyscrapers, including the CN Tower. The park has large sports fields including tennis courts, ball diamonds and an artificial outdoor ski rink in the winter.

The park is also one of Toronto's top spots for toboganning in the winter. This park is also popular for more sedentary activities, such as reading a book on a bench or on the grass. It is also a popular destination for picnic-lovers. For those who need it, a wheelchair ramp is available. 

History in Toronto Canada

Riverdale Park is also home to a historical monument, a statue of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. Dr. Sen, who was known as the father of modern China, visited Toronto around 100 years ago. In the 1980s the statue was erected. Riverdale Park is in close proximity to east Toronto's chinatown, and can easily be reached by foot after exploring the park.
