Alberta Border Crossing

On the road again. It feels so good to be exploring and documenting tourism and adventure again. Today we set off for Lethbridge, Alberta to begin our journey of building our new AlbertaEH.com Travel Planning Network.. which we will be launching next spring.

The skies are blue the temperature is hot and we are rolling along Highway #3.  From Cranbrook Bro and I traveled to Fernie (Tim Horton Stop) pulling our travel pods behind us.  After Fernie we continued driving to the border and the Crowsnest Pass communities. Small communities with lots of trails in the back country. Stopped in at an old church in Cowley which was converted into a coffee shop.  Really well done.

After we came out of the mountains the grasslands and windmills took over. Miles of winding highways, sometimes big wind gusts pushing us around. We visited Frank Slide and the old buildings along the way.

Bro and I then parted ways. I headed down to Pincher Creek and then to Lethbridge and he headed off for Medicine Hat to research a base camp so to research and do some computer work.

Pincher Creek was a cute little town with a cool museum of the pioneer days and a walking path following the creek through town. Got some walking in and some pictures to show you on the new website next year.

Just another great day on the road.

Be well, Be active.
