Each of the three trails leads to natural viewpoints with views of the Oldman River and overlooking a valley of rolling coulees. The trails explore a grassland prairie environment with groves of cottonwood trees surrounded by clusters of saskatoon and buffaloberry bushes.

Lethbridge

The Bertha Lake Trail highlight destinations include Bertha Falls and Bertha Lake. Both are accessed from the same trail. The trailhead is located near the campground in the Waterton Townsite.

Waterton

The Hoodoo Trail is an easy going, moderately long hiking trail located near the Village of Banff, Alberta, Canada in the Banff National Park. The trail features some river, cliff, mountain and hoodoo sightseeing while hiking a forested trail along the banks of the Bow River.

Some of the summer activities enjoyed in the Echo Dale Regional Park include swimming, hiking, canoeing, birdwatching, picnicking and lounging around on the large grass lawns.
