Fort Normandeau is a picnic and historical destination located in the community of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. The park is part of a larger park and trail network in Red Deer called Waskasoo Park.

Fish Creek Provincial Park is a year round recreation destination, wildlife sanctuary and day use park located south of the community of Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the Southern Alberta region of Canada.

The trail follows Lineman Creek most of the way through a forest environment. As the elevation increases the forest thins out and the trail breaks out onto a mountain slope with views of the falls.

The North Drywood Falls trail is located in Castle Wildland Provincial Park in southern Alberta, Canada. A 10km in and back trail through the front canyons of Castle, with amazing views of Pincher Ridge and Drywood Mountain. The hike features stunning scenery, seasonal wildflowers, and a waterfall.

The Evan Thomas Pathway connects Kananaskis Village with Wedge Pond. It runs parallel to Hwy #40 most of the route, dipping in and out of the forest along the way.

Saamis Tepee is a very recognizable landmark located easily in the community of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Towering at just over 65 metres (215 feet) the giant steel tepee looms over the Seven Persons Creek river valley and its coulees.

The lakes - Lillian and Galatea Lake - are the two highlight destinations located at the end of the trail. It is a popular adventure route for hiking, backpacking, wilderness camping and shore fishing for brook and cutthroat trout.

The site is remote away from the city of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. It is home to fishing derbys and, at times, can be a very busy wilderness campsite destination. However, it is important to know there is very little tree cover providing shelter from the sun.

Lake Annette and Lake Edith are two alpine lakes, situated side by side, located southeast of the community of Jasper, Alberta, Canada in the Jasper National Park. Both the lakes are "kettle lakes" created from the retreat of the ice during the Ice Age.

Cameron Lake is a well maintained sub alpine lake situated at an elevation of 1646 meters (5400 ft). The lake is located at the end of the 16 kilometre Akamina Parkway. The parkway itself is a sightseeing adventure.
