Many of the National and Provincial Parks of Alberta include campgrounds. Most of the campgrounds permit RVs, campers and tenting. The campsites tend to be well maintained and include most amenities. Some of the more remote National and Provincial Parks also include wilderness campsites which permit tenting only and require backpacking , canoeing, kayaking, and/or boating to the site. It is recommended to make reservations at all Provincial and National Park Campgrounds through Alberta Parks, especially through peak season from May - October.
