8,000 Kilometres of Canada: One Epic Walk from Coast to Coast to Coast
So proud! At 28,000 kilometres, the Trans Canada Trail isn’t just a trail—it’s a dare. The longest recreational pathway on Earth, it stitches together the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans through a wild mosaic of coastal footpaths, rail trails, waterways, gravel roads, and backcountry routes. Along the way, it threads through more than 15,000 Canadian communities, each with its own stories, accents, and stubborn pride.
We invite you to Come Walk With Us—virtually—as we lace up our boots, shoulder our packs, and step into an epic, coast-to-coast-to-coast journey across Canada on foot. This is Canada at ground level: muddy, magnificent, humbling, and human.
Brought to life through powerful photos and firsthand storytelling by Canada Adventure Seeker Sonya Richmond, this is a rare, honest crossing of the country—one step, one story, one horizon at a time. We could not be more prouder of Sonya and her partner, photographer Sean Morton.
