The longest running continuous rodeo in Canada is the Wood Mountain Stampede. Located at Wood Mountain Regional Park, which is 8 kilometers south of the village of Wood Mountain, it has been holding events for 127 years! In the early days, it included all sorts of activities such as horse races, foot races and baseball games. This year's event will be held July 8 to 10th and is sure to be a great time!. Be sure to check out the Wood Mountain Rodeo Ranch Museum as well!. Check out the web page at woodmountainstampede.com for more information on the festivities!
