Queen Charlotte

Trail Length: 1km

Difficulty: Easy - Family
Park Amenities:
Hiking

Crabapple Creek Trail is another of the Village of Queen Charlotte's hiking trails. It is approximately 1 kilometer long (one-way) and meanders up and down all through the woods.

The trail is described as a loop trail in local literature, but this is innacurate because the terminus is in a completely different spot from where you began. That said, there are two main entry points: The first is at the end of 2nd avenue at the cul-de-sac; the second entry point is adjacent the Queen Charlotte Mainline road, near the totem pole and old logging equipment. Regardless of where you start, the trailhead is clearly marked with signage that reads "Crabapple Creek Trail."

Crabapple Creek trail is decently maintaned and provides beautiful forest views. Some sections are muddy and steep, so proper footwear is advised. In addition, this trail does link up with the informal "Backyard Trails" system, so stick only to the marked trail unless you're familiar with the area.

Total walk time is roughly 30 minutes one-way.
