Trail inside Kootenay National Park, not far from the village of Radium Hot Springs. This hike starts near the top of Sinclair pass and leads downhill for a short section but levels out soon following alongside the creek all the way to the lake.

There are some mountain views but the main attraction is the beautiful forest and varied vegetation plus the lake itself which provides a gorgeous back drop for a picnic.

Be sure to bring your wild flower/plant guides along on this hike!

From Radium Hot Springs take Hwy 93 towards Banff, just outside of town you will enter Kootenay National Park, approximately 15 km after leaving Radium Hot Springs you will see a trail head sign and parking space on the right hand side of the highway.
