The trail system on Fox Mountain is one of three popular mountain biking destinations in the region. The other two include Desous Mountain and West Syde Trails.

The Fox Mountain trail system is designed for mountain bikers, but be aware that hikers like to to explore these trails also. The trails run along a ridge, moving from east to west, and then down Fox Mountain. The easiest entrance to find accessing the trail network is at the end of Mason Road - which is paved.

Most biking routes on the mountain are rated as intermediate. Many of the those routes connect to exisiting routes, combining for some interesting downhill and single track runs. Along some of those runs, mountain bikers will find a few expert and advanced runs to push their limits.

A few of the routes include the "Itchy Scratchy", "Dog Bone " and "Jimmy's Fox Trail". The 20 minute downhill "Itchy Scratchy" expert run is a steep run, along a narrow trail biking pass hoodoos and cliffs. The "Dog Bone " is an expert route filled with stunts, jumps and switchbacks. The "Jimmy's Fox Trail" travels through trees, along a ridge, providing views of the whole valley before getting serious with some downhill.

It is important to note that all users of the trail system stay on the trail system so to minimize the impact to the forest. Some trails neighbour private property and residential homes so please respect the neighbourhood. All riders pack out your garbage and be aware of wildlife and hikers on the trails.
