Lac La Hache, BC, Canada in the South Cariboo-Chilcotin Region of British Columbia is a small village lining the banks of an 18 kilometre (11 mi.) recreation lake of the same name. The lake, the provincial park and the local ski hill are the big attractions in the region drawing people to the area from all over the world to play, relax and explore.

The surrounding grasslands, ranchlands, forests and rolling hills provide year round adventures for many locals and visitors. A quick scan of the area and one will see a good selection of farm houses, resorts, barns, piers, moored boats and residential buildings lining the banks of the lake.

The lake community is located north of 100 Mile House, British Columbia, Canada on Highway 97. The retail and commercial stores of the village line both sides of the highway. The village has a few services important to visitors like gas stations, restaurants, ATMs, accommodations and campgrounds.

During the sunshine months people enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, water skiing, canoeing, camping, cycling and mountain biking in the community of Lac La Hache, BC. During the winter months, when the snow is on the ground and the temperatures have dropped, the lake community enjoys cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, and ice fishing. The most popular park in the area is the Lac La Hache Provincial Park.

East of the village is a local ski mountain providing 34 downhill runs for skiers and snowboarders named Timothy Ski Hill. With an elevation of 1654 metres and a vertical of 284 metres the mountain is one of the more popular destinations during the winter months servicing the Cariboo region.

Just south of Lac La Hache is 108 Mile Ranch. A heritage site established on the old Cariboo Gold Rush Trail sharing the stories of the early pioneers and settlers of the region through the building and artifacts onsite.
