Kiwanis Park in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada is a small community park located within another park on the shores of the Nechako River in the community of Prince George, BC, Canada. The river park is a small piece of recreational parkland within the bigger, more, popular, Cottonwood Island Park.

The park centres around a large paved boat launch that provides access to the Nechako River for boaters and canoers. The gravel parking lot in the park provides angle parking only which is ideal for trucks pulling boat trailers. The water levels rise and fall rapidly on the river. The currents depending on the season can be very fast. It is very wise to take all precautions when accessing the river.

Dissecting the park is a community walking path known as the Heritage River Trail. From the Kiwanis Park parking lot all bikers, joggers, walkers and roller bladders can access the community trail easily from either end of the park. There is a billboard sign with a trail map located at the east end of the park.

Along the section of trail that falls within the park is one viewing bench providing views of the Nechako River. The park is mostly designated as an access point on the Nechako River and as an alternative trailhead entrance to the Heritage Trail. There is very little amenities onsite so bring your own food, water and adventure gear.

You might want to go to the little boys or girls room first before arriving at the Kiwanis Park. There is some public outhouses further down River Road at the Cottonwood Island Park parking lot for emergencies.
