Cat Lake - Squamish, BC, Canada is a little more remote than some of the other lakes in the Squamish, BC  area. Some of the activities enjoyed in the Cat Lake region include hiking, mountain biking, swimming, canoeing, fishing and camping.

It is very common to see canoes and kayaks on the lake on most days. While exploring the lake it is not uncommon to stumble onto some wooden home made rafts and rope swings hanging from tree branches.

The trail system in the area is filled with challenging mountain bike routes navigating around the Cat Lake and up into the Cheekeye River area. The tough mountain bike trails connect to the Alice Lake, Cat Lake, Brohm Lake and Garibaldi Highlands hiking and mountain biking trails.

The lake also has walk-in campsites only. From the parking lot there is a path leading down to the tenting sites. Be aware, that the lake draws a louder than usual crowd. A crowd that likes to sometimes party. Families should be prepared for late nights. The recreational campground might not be for everyone.
