Pioneer Park is a small sandy beach park located in Lake Country near the community of Oyama, BC. The beach park is situated in a small cove on the south end of Kalamalka Lake.

The park is not as busy as the other bigger parks. The park attracts people who enjoy picnicking, swimming, sun tanning and/or reading a book. From the shores of the park there are views of water skiers, houseboats and docks.

Pioneer Park has a good size sandy beach, picnic tables, a swimming area and a floating dock. The recreation park is the first park before Kaloya Park which is another park located at the end of the road on a peninsula.

How To Get ToPioneer Park

:
Travel north along Highway #97 (35 minutes from Kelowna) to the community of Oyama, BC. From the highway in the community turn right onto Oyama Road and then turn left onto Trask Road. Continue a few hundred feet down the road and the beach park is on your left. There is a pull out parking area for 4 cars.
