Thompson Waterfall Trail is a short 1.4 kilometre loop trail leading to a waterfall on the Blaeberry River. At the 900 metre point is the location of the waterfall. The trail is more of a sightseeing destination than a day hike as the walk is short and considered an easy grade route

Once at the falls one can continue along a loop route or go back the same way they came. From the trailhead the trail follow the right side of the Blaeberry River. The slopes are slippery from the moisture of the river so be careful.

The Thompson Falls Trail is located in a popular recreation area. Not far from the falls are a few recreation campsites including the Thompson Falls and Split Creek Recreation Sites. The wilderness campgrounds are rustic and include firepits, picnic tables and pit toilets. The campsites are also base camps in the winter for snowmobilers and cross country skiers.
